Visual Art work created by Bharatanatyam artist Malathi Iyengar and Sculptor, Suresh Iyengar have been included in the prestigious Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Calendar produced by the City of Los Angleles, Cultural Affairs Department.
Los Angeles City Mayor James K. Hahn officially kicks-off the Los Angeles Asian and Pacific Islander American Heritage Month with a press conference to present the Calendar of Events and recognize honorees and sponsors. The event is followed by a reception.
